Lowe's is celebrating their 100'th birthday this year and one of the ways they're doing so is with 100 murals at 100 different stores across the US. The company commissioned YSANEL to paint the mural that now lives outside of the Lowe's on Quaker Lane in Warwick, RI. The mural will be up until December 2021!

YSANEL's public art project from 2014 called Sound the Alarm on Female Empowerment was featured in Providence Monthly’s August 2019 issue called The Faces of Street Art.
In support of the Rhode Island Coalition Against Gun Violence and One Gun Gone, YSANEL read a poem at a Safe Schools Act Rally held at the Rhode Island State House in June 2019.
AS220, the Guatemalan Center of New England, and RISD’s Exposé Gallery presented “Mejunje: Juegos del Nagual”, a Latino art exhibit featuring local young artists from the Guatemalan Center of NE and AS220.
AS220 Youth Staff John Bhogal and Nick Carter, apprentice Eric Ramos and Youth members Ariel Brito and YSANEL worked together to design and install a mural on the exterior wall of Washington Park's Providence Community Library.
